Hello, my name is Jay and I'm a 27 years old Jazz musician from Vitoria-Gasteiz in the north of Spain. This last few years I've been studying Jazz Guitar in the Conservatoire of Pamplona, Spain from which I've just graduated and also working as a guitar teacher in different places. My idea for the future is to find an affordable room/home in Amsterdam and apply for the Conservatorium van Amsterdam for the next term as I visited a couple of months back and I fell in love with the place and the music scene which I must say it's truly captivating. Personally, I'm a peaceful person, I spend most of time studying music or practicing in my room (I use headphones to practice, I don't want to bother anyone with my music), I'm not really a party person, I enjoy my peace and quiet and I love to read or go watch art/paintings in a museum...I also like to keep the house tidy, I've shared a house before with flat-mates and we used to have like a cleaning schedule that worked well just so everyone enjoy their time and have space to do their own thing in peace. Hey! My name is Willem (25 years) and I started my PhD in February at the RIVM. The project is about building models to predict the spread of infectious diseases, like our good old friend corona… About myself: I am a social, physically active, calm and tidy person. In my spare time, I do calisthenics. Mostly in the gym, but preferably outside with nice weather and good company. Outdoor activities are my favorite! Besides calisthenics, I am looking for another sport, which might become bouldering and/or cycling. I also enjoy listening to music (from classical music to heavy metal and everything in between) and still want to learn how to sing. Besides sports, I really enjoy having a chat with my roommates during dinner or a relaxed evening on the couch. I work 2-3 days from home, so there are plenty of opportunities to catch up! A little about me: I love spending time with my friends and family. I like to go out or stay in -> both have their positives sides and I enjoy both. For sporty activities I’d like to go swimming and just started jogging (but I don’t know if I like it yet) I am very responsible, friendly, open minded, clean, outgoing, positive and reliable. Also I can be very clumsy haha so living with me never gets boring (in a funny way) 😇. I grew up with animals, so I have no problems living with an animal.
